Collectives Hub 2026
Photo Fringe’s Collectives Hub returns to Phoenix Art Space, bringing together eight selected photography and lens-based artist collectives from across the UK and beyond.
This year’s exhibition brings together a diverse range of photographic practices, perspectives and approaches to image-making. Responding to Phoenix Art Space’s 30th anniversary theme, Future Histories, the Collectives Hub considers how the past continues to shape the present, while asking how the images, stories and actions of today might influence the futures we create.
Together, the eight collectives offer multiple ways of thinking through photography’s relationship with memory, identity, place, history and possibility, creating a space to reflect on where we have come from, where we are now, and where we might go next.
