Explore Your Photography – Analogue Printing At Home Without A Darkroom

Explore how to print your photos at home using historical processes and techniques - no darkroom needed.

Long before the days of digital cameras and printers, film processing and darkrooms, people used the UV light from the sun, to produce their own beautiful prints and images.

Join photographer and print maker, Jo Stapleton for this free interactive workshop session, to find out:
-ways to explore and bring your photography to life -or produce cameraless images (photograms) using everyday objects.
-historical printing processes and lofi-techniques, including cyanotype, vandyke and chlorophyll printing
-how to get started with making your own analogue prints at home without needing to buy lots of fancy or expensive equipment

You'll also have an opportunity to share one of your own images and talk about photography and printing with like-minded others.

No photographic or darkroom skills or experience required to attend this workshop session, all welcome.

The workshop will be facilitated by photographer and print maker Jo Stapleton. Jo first began using cyanotype and other historical and alternative printing process as a way to creatively explore the natural world and analogue photography. You can find out more about Jo and her work here
