Portsmouth OPEN: Feedback Loop

Photo Fringe is proud to present OPEN26 Young Photographers, an exhibition by local photographers aged between 11 and 18, selected through an open call in response to the festival’s theme, Feedback Loop. Featuring 49 young participants, the exhibition showcases a diverse range of photographic perspectives, reflecting the ideas, experiences and creative approaches of a new generation of image-makers.

This year’s festival theme Feedback Loop, explores how ideas, images and relationships are shaped through exchange. Photography doesn’t happen in isolation; it evolves through constant conversation, collaboration and circulation. The 2026 iteration of the festival celebrates the creative potential of working collectively.
