Around the World with Dibbles!

In 2013 Dibbles embarked on a World Cruise with Nick Ford and the Photography Team of MV Aurora. Sailing across vast oceans and visiting exotic countries meant he had to cross the equator, the international date line, and every time zone, all whilst jumping in and out of many a camera bag! His travels took him to far flung continents, he made many friends, and he might be the only bear to have travelled along both the Panama & Suez Canals! You are warmly invited to come and see the pioneering adventures of a small mascot bear. A selection of Nick's travel images will also be on display at the studio.

As a freelance photographer building a business in Brighton and also working occasionally at sea, the opportunity to join a photography team on a World Cruise was too good to miss! I had recently joined the Brighton Gay Men's Chorus before getting the job and thought it would be a great way for the Chorus to keep up to date with my travels by taking 'Dibbles' along with me. He was a hit with our photography team, and also the passengers! We took him on excursions we were working on and made sure we got photos of him at key locations across the globe.
