Photo Fringe is open to all and everyone’s welcome

Our twelfth biennial, open-platform photography festival runs during October 2026 with over a hundred exhibitions and events online and in venues across our home city of Brighton & Hove and along the south coast from Portsmouth to Newhaven.

As ever, the festival presents a vibrant mix of self-curated shows and work selected from open calls in galleries, cafés, pop-up venues, outdoor installations and other extraordinary spaces.

Our line-up includes practitioners from all career stages, from enthusiasts, to recent graduates, and established talents.

Our Story
