Photo Fringe First Monday – 7 October 2019
Green Room
Phoenix Brighton
6.30pm to 8.30pm. Talk at 7pm.

Join us on Monday for a some friendly photo chat at Phoenix Brighton.

This month we are delighted to be joined by Sarah Howe, a UK-based artist and winner of BPF OPEN18 SOLO award.

Sarah Howe's installations situate still and moving image within sculptural space. Her work stands in the crossing between a material and psychological landscape, in a reach to illustrate heightened inner states. Howe is a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London. Recent exhibitions include Rehearsing the Real, Peckham24, London UK (2019); Present Tense, Matéria Gallery, Rome, Italy (2019); Lets go through this again, Portland Works, Sheffield UK (2019) and Consider Falling, Brighton ONCA Gallery, Brighton UK (2018).

Sarah is currently showing work as part of the exhibition ON EDGE: Living in an age of anxiety, at Science Gallery, King's College London.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Caravan Café will be open to serve hot and cold drinks and delicious snacks before the event.
