There are many ways you can get involved with Brighton Photo Fringe 2018 (BPF18) and celebrate the visual arts this October.

You can either submit work to our many open calls inc: OPEN18 Solo, Moving and Artist in Residence, which are all now live. See our list of current opportunities here.

OR you can host your own exhibition with a venue (gallery, coffee shop, restaurant, community space , etc) located in the city.

You will need to provide information and pay the fee to take part in the festival, and you will need to complete the contract and evaluation process.

This year's festival will take place from 29 September to 28 October 2018.

Deadline for listing in the festival (fee payable) is 20 August 2018.

Submissions are now live.

" I admire the energy and fresh ideas which I always discover when I visit the Brighton Photo Fringe – like some of the best Fringe events within the wider cultural sector (Edinburgh Festival) BPF has developed over its fifteen-year existence a robust identity as the place to see the most exciting emerging work and creative collaborations/installations. Like the relationship between Offprint (Tate) and Photo London, BPF provides an important contribution to the overall ecology of the photography festival scene in the UK today. With Brighton so readily accessible from London and Europe, it also provides a platform for international curators to visit and see the most interesting work being produced in the UK today."

- Brett Rogers, Director, The Photographers’ Gallery
