OPEN ECO: Mark Phillips, The Rhone Glacier retreats – from the series ‘Asymmetries’ (2022)

Attempts to protect part of the Rhone Glacier with tarpaulin and insulation. The irony is that this protection is only present because of the tourist ice caves. The main glacier melts, and retreats, still unprotected.
