LULL Live Lab – From Looking to Language

LOOK. LISTEN. MAKE.

Join me for a day of photographing, experimenting and looking differently at Brighton.

We’ll begin inside LULL before heading out into the city. I’ll give you a series of loose prompts, but this isn’t about everybody making the same photographs. It’s about following your instincts, taking risks and paying attention to what draws you in.

At the end of the day, we’ll return to LULL for an informal first look at what we’ve made.

You can work with a camera or a phone, and you don’t need an existing project or portfolio. The day is open to photographers and image-makers at any stage.

Participants can continue into a second day on Sunday 11 October, 10am–6:00pm, when we’ll work with the photographs made on Saturday through editing, sequencing and conversation.

The Sunday session is available to Saturday participants only.
