Photo Fringe is delighted to be partnering again with Fabrica, Spectrum Photographic and Jane & Jeremy for a relaxed evening of photography discussion, music and photobooks.

At this annual event we aim to create a welcoming space where photographers and creatives at any stage in their career can connect with industry professionals and peers and discover new work.

We'll hear from Christian Jago, the latest In Between Gallery open-call winner. Christian's image Spring, shows in Fabrica's main window until April 2024. Based in Essex, Christian's practice is a fusion of set design, photography, and various disciplines that culminate in the construction of fantastical worlds inspired by places, stories, daydreams, and memories. Christian photographs his hand-built, meticulously lit, miniature-scale sets, transforming imaginary creations into vivid visual realities.

Local large-format camera and enlarger manufacturers Intrepid Camera will be showing some of their products and chatting about their recently opened darkroom and workshop space, Intrepid Studios, where a community of local photographers has been printing, shooting and learning about analogue photography.

Jane & Jeremy from The Bookend will bring a selection of photobooks to browse and purchase. Plus, a fully stocked bar and DJ will accompany the evening - more details to follow.

The doors & bar will open at 6pm - the talk + Q&A will begin at approximately 7pm and finish by 8pm. Networking, photobook browsing, and music will continue until 9pm.

This event is a fundraiser and your participation will directly support the growth and sustainability of photography-focused opportunities in the city. All profits from ticket sales, bar takings, and donations, will go to funding 2024 Photo Fringe networking events and supporting the In Between Gallery project
