Support BPF and play a vital part in our future

Bill Leslie, What Will a Sculpture Made to be Photographed Look Like? BPF Commission 2016

Brighton Photo Fringe receives no regular state funding and has to raise all the funding required to deliver our much-loved biennial festival and regular professional development events for lens-based artists.

The Board of Trustees apply for funding from Arts Council England, Trusts and Foundations and other public grants such as the national lottery funds. Fees for our open submissions, our brochures and Hubs make vital contributions and provide match funding that levers in public funding. In addition we have received fantastic support from our partners and corporate sponsors such as Metro Imaging Ltd.

Without this support we would not be able to produce our activities. However this does not cover our core costs such as staff time for fundraising; insurance and accounting costs. We also need an office to work from so we can host our growing numbers of volunteers.

We therefore rely on individual gifts from our growing circle of patrons; from crowdfunding campaigns; annual auctions and the sale of merchandise.

Support us

BPF consistently demonstrates exceptional value for money. Led by volunteers, BPF endeavours to make all its activities self-financing. Public funding makes up only a third of the current BPF budget and pays for freelance consultants essential to delivering our intensive programmes. Help us continue to develop our much-needed programmes by donating here. Every little helps.
