SUBMISSIONS CLOSED

We are now calling for proposals for two room at the Regency Town House. These are in the Basement and include the Kitchen and the Servants' Hall. You can find images of the rooms here and plans of the Kitchen here and the Servants' hall here. The Kitchen is particularly suited to an installation, with limited wall space. The Servants' Hall lends itself perfectly to moving image or slide projection and events.

These rooms will be hired for a subsidised fee of £500 from 29 September to 28 October. This covers some of the hire fee for the building. We are looking for exhibitions particularly suited to the space and that respond in some way to the unique setting of a Regency town house in restoration. We are seeking ambitious projects that will signal a step change for the exhibitor.

Installing the exhibition will run from 26 September. Get out on 30 October. You are expected to work closely with Regency Town House staff to install your exhibition and follow the restrictions of this historic setting. The BPF team and Trainee Curators will be on hand to provide guidance but you are expected to take responsibility for the installation and invigilation of the exhibition. Please note that Festival fees are additional and dependent on the size of your listing, please indicate in your application the size you wish to reserve and you will be invoiced accordingly.

Application Process

We are seeking proposals that address our mission to develop new ways of seeing together.

Please send us no more than 2 sides of A4 outlining the following points:

  1. The title of your exhibition
  2. A short description of your proposed exhibition in no more than 400 characters.
  3. A short description of why it is well suited to the space.
  4. A short description of how this opportunity will help further your career.
  5. A description of how you plan to install the work.

Please include up to 6 low res images, one of which can be a plan of the exhibition layout and a current CV.

Please email these to info@photofringe.org with the subject heading: REGENCY TOWN HOUSE SUBMISSION.

Deadline is 9am on 20 August. SUBMISSIONS CLOSED

Applications will be selected by the BPF18 Team. Artists will be informed by close of day on 20 August.
