Winner of BPF OPEN16 Young Photographers Announced

We are delighted to announce that Aliyah Otchere is the winner of the OPEN16 Young Photographers for her photograph Loves Consumption.

Aliyah was one of 20 young people aged 14-18 who were selected to exhibit at Phoenix Brighton during Brighton Photo Fringe 2016. The 20 finalists and winner were selected by a panel of photography industry professionals: Jamie Brett (Youth Culture Archive), Juliette Buss (Learning & Participation Curator, Photoworks), Rachel Gillies (Lecturer, University of Brighton), Ewen Spencer (photographer) & Clare Strand (photographer).

The winner receives a £100 print voucher from our sponsors Metro Imaging – London’s pro lab – as well as a portfolio review with a professional photographer.
