The latest work to be selected for Fabrica's In Between Gallery is by Ibrahim Azab.

The In Between Gallery is an ongoing series of photographic exhibitions which sit between Fabrica’s main exhibition programme, in partnership withPhoto Fringe, Spectrum and Loupe Magazine. Work by emerging photographers is shown in the Fabrica window space right in the heart of Brighton, in the large picture window on Duke Street.

Showing until 16 July 2021 is Ibrahim Azab's FOPDTMM_#02, 2018 from the series FOPDTMM (2018-2020).

Digital collages from magazine cut outs and the artist's personal imagery highlight the process of reproducing memory and material in the everyday.

A second image by the artist will be displayed in the space in August. Lookout for the next In Between Gallery open call in autumn 2021.


Ibrahim Azab is a multi-disciplinary artist and curator based in London. Ibby’s practice shifts between Sculpture, Performance and Photography whilst engaging in ideas of re-construction and memory. His work explores the photograph as object, through digital and physical intervention, with a focus towards the movement and exchange of visual language and the abstract in consumer culture.
